China started a new coal-fired power plant every 3 ½ days in 2022, while America closed 4.

According to Google, there are a total of 3,037 operating coal-fired power plant units in China. As of January 2022, the province of Shandong, which lies to the south of Beijing, houses the greatest number of coal power plants, at over 400 units. By comparison according to the US Energy Information Administration (EIA), there are more than 400 coal units in all of the United States. Most of these coal plants are in the eastern half of the country.

In 2022 China started a new coal plant every 3 ½ days. China is leading the world in new coal power plants, building more than three times as much new coal power capacity as all other countries in the world combined in 2020. Under the Paris agreement, about 200 nations promised to set goals to cut their greenhouse gas emissions. Each nation decides for itself what its goal will be. The hope is that cumulatively, those reductions would limit global temperature increases to no more than 2 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels. China aims for ‘carbon neutrality by 2060.

AOC gives a Doomsday Countdown Clock Update: We Don’t Have Much More Time Left on Earth. She said in March of 2022 that we only have 9 years left. We are now down to 8 years. We heard from John Kerry in February 2021 that we only have 9 years left so according to him we only have less than 7 years left.

I decided to try to find out how many of the 190 countries who signed the Paris accord are on target with their commitments. The March 29, 2023 issue of Courthouse News Service looked at dozens of countries responsible for 80% of the world’s emissions, two research organizations tracking climate action determined only Gambia is where it needs to be to hold back the warming of the globe by 1.5 degrees Celsius, the ultimate goal of the Paris climate accord.

The report went on to say, “The most important target date is 2030, by which time global emissions must be cut by 50%, and governments are nowhere near this.” China is now saying its goal is to hit the target in 2060. Several countries, including Bangladesh, are facing increasing flooding as sea levels rise. Wealthy countries still haven’t met their $100 billion pledge to help poor countries face climate change, and the risks are rising. If the rich countries don’t feed the poor countries the money to change the climate will the world come to an end sooner rather than later?

US President, Joe Biden, quickly walked back a statement he made during the state of the Union address that suggested the nation (America) will eliminate all fossil fuel use In 10 years. Somebody is not telling the truth, Kerry and AOC are saying we have 7 to 8 years left but their leader, the President, is now saying we will need fossil fuel for 2 to 3 years beyond their projections.

Modern doomsayers have been predicting climate and environmental disasters since the 1960s. They continue to do so today.

None of the apocalyptic predictions with due dates as of today have come true. Here are a few examples: Paul Ehrlich predicted a “Dire Famine by 1975. In April 1970 James P. Lodge predicted a new ice age by the 21st century. Paul Ehrlich October 1970 opined that the Oceans would be as dead as Lake Erie. Time suggested in June 1974 another ice age.

Perhaps the leading forecaster who has never gotten any prediction right, Al Gore, predicted in 2008 that the polar ice cap would be gone by 2018. It is still here.

I always thought the following was a great statement about predicting the weather. The local weatherperson can predict the weather possible up to 7 days in advance, but they are not reliable forecasters 10, 20, 30, or 50 years out.

I believe nations must accept the responsibility for cleaning the air and water the nation uses, but spending trillions of dollars on unreliable science is foolhardy. The left is trying to scare the world by threatening its actual survival. Think about this, the scare tactics used in climate change remind me of the approach of governments on COVID-19. What will be the outcome for those who are making these forecasts that are wrong? The same outcome of all the people who got it wrong on COVID-19, nothing. They caused the spending of trillions of dollars chasing a lie. I for one have had enough of their lies.
